The school day does not end at dismissal because students may choose to participate in extracurricular activities. The St. Francis Children’s choir is a perfect way for any child to express his or her musical talent. The choir sings for special Masses and travels to local destinations, such as the State Capitol, Yeager Airport and Charleston Town Center for seasonal concerts and ends each year with a dramatic Dinner Show.  Our basketball program offers girls and boys in grades K-5 the opportunity to learn basketball skills and play on teams.  Players practice in the school’s full-sized gym (the only elementary school in town with a full-sized gym). The reputation of our highly-skilled basketball players is well-known and much respected in the basketball community.
